The first Missouri Dump Truckers Association scholarship was awarded to Mark Peters, son of David and Audrey Peters, Marthasville, Mo.
Mark is a 2004 graduate of St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in Washington, Mo. He is attending Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Mo. His field of study will be in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design Technology. He plans to be a CAD Technician in the aerospace industry, perhaps as a designer. Mark is on the CMSU Dean’s List with a 4.0 GPA.
While in high school, Mark’s extracurricular activities involvement included: the National Honor Society (2003-2004), American Motorcyclists Association (2001-2002), Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (2003-2004), and Catholic Youth Council (1998-2004).
Honors and awards received include Missouri Bright Flight Scholarship (2004), Who’s Who Among American High School Students (2002-2004), and Central Missouri State University’s Distinguished Scholar Award.
Mark was involved in several communities and church activities and worked part-time while attending high school.
