Campbell graduated in May 2021 from New Franklin High School in New Franklin, MO with a 3.61/4.00 GPA. Campbell plans to attend NEO A&M College in Miami, OK to study animal science.
Extracurricular Activities: In her first year of high school Campbell played softball, basketball, track, and rodeo. By her senior year, she just played basketball and rodeo. She is focusing more on her rodeoing and working forward to her future.
Honors and Awards: National Honor Society. Lettered in Sports. She has made nationals for four years in Rodeo. Out of two of those, she made it back to the short go and placed in the top 20 in the nation. She also just qualified for the Junior American in Fort Worth, Texas.
Community/Service Activities: In the FFA and NHA, every year has done things for people in need, i.e., making baskets and giving to the elderly at the senior home. In addition, at the end of every year, she helped at factories that need help.
Work Experience: Campbell is not employed. Lauren feeds the cows and works with horses at the family farm. Any her free time she rides her horses. She helps her mother with cooking and laundry.
Campbell felt receiving the scholarship would be a reflection of all the hard work her family puts into their business every day. Her family has been involved in heavy equipment for generations and she has learned the ins and outs of the trucking industry.
While studying animal science at NEO A&M, Campbell will be on the rodeo team, competing in breakaway roping. Campbell plans to remain active in the family business.
