2022 SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS

Campbell graduated in May 2021 from New Franklin High School in New Franklin, MO with a 3.61/4.00 GPA. Campbell plans to attend NEO A&M College in Miami, OK to study animal science.

Extracurricular Activities: In her first year of high school Campbell played softball, basketball, track, and rodeo. By her senior year, she just played basketball and rodeo. She is focusing more on her rodeoing and working forward to her future.

Honors and Awards: National Honor Society. Lettered in Sports. She has made nationals for four years in Rodeo. Out of two of those, she made it back to the short go and placed in the top 20 in the nation. She also just qualified for the Junior American in Fort Worth, Texas.

Community/Service Activities: In the FFA and NHA, every year has done things for people in need, i.e., making baskets and giving to the elderly at the senior home. In addition, at the end of every year, she helped at factories that need help.

Work Experience: Campbell is not employed. Lauren feeds the cows and works with horses at the family farm. Any her free time she rides her horses. She helps her mother with cooking and laundry.

Campbell felt receiving the scholarship would be a reflection of all the hard work her family puts into their business every day. Her family has been involved in heavy equipment for generations and she has learned the ins and outs of the trucking industry.

While studying animal science at NEO A&M, Campbell will be on the rodeo team, competing in breakaway roping. Campbell plans to remain active in the family business.

Gabriel is a May 2021 graduate from Boonville High School in Boonville, MO with a 3.85/4.00 GPA. Gabriella plans to attend the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO majoring in Art and minoring in Biology. He plans to become a medical illustrator where he will be drawing for child abuse victims in court cases in hopes for their trial to succeed.

Extracurricular Activities: Student Council (4 years)-Student Body President; National Honor Society (2 years)-Vice President; FCCLA (1 year)-Treasurer; Young Life (4 years)-junior leader; FCA (4 years); Soccer (2 years); Tennis (3 years); Soccer (2 years).

Honors and Awards: Congressional Art Award (Vicky Hartzler); Principal’s Honor Roll (4 years); Pirate Pride Recipient (1 year); Prom Prince (1 year); Homecoming King Candidate (1 year).

Community/Service Activities: Turkey Dinner, St. Patrick Day Dinner (2010-current); Young Life work crew (weekends and week-long); Big Muddy Festival (2010-current); Tutor (every other Wednesday); “Bell Ringer” for Salvation Army (during holiday every year).

Work Experience: Gabriel is not employed. Every summer, he works on the family farm doing activities such as yard work, cleaning, painting, et. He also worked at the family business, Greis Trucking every summer cleaning trucks, working on machinery, and generally where he can.

Gabriel grew up around dump trucks and equipment his whole life. He developed his work ethic from both his father and grandfather. From spending countless days in the shop and farm, he has grown into an extremely hard worker. He plans on taking his work ethic with him to college where he plans to major in Art and minor in Biology. Ashley Pullen is a May 2021 graduate from Warrenton High School in Warrenton, MO with a GPA of 4.53 weighted/4.0 unweighted. Ashley plans to attend the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO majoring in Business with an emphasis on Finance using her love of math to help people reach their monetary goals and achieve financial stability.

Extracurricular Activities: National Honor Society (11th-12th grade)-Treasurer; Varsity Volleyball (9th-12th grade); 4-H (4 years)-Treasurer 2020-2021; Student Mentoring Group (10th-12th grade); FFA (3 years).

Honors and Awards: Volleyball-All Conference, All-Academic Player (10th-12th), 2020 Volleyball Coaches Award; Warren County Fair-2019 Intermediate Beef Showmanship Winner; 4-H Top Club Achiever-Senior Division 2020.

Community/Service Activities: Summer School Tutoring (30 hours); Volleyball Youth Summer Camp Assistant (40 hours); Volunteering through National Honor Society (3 Hours/Week).

Work Experience: Ashley works an average of 25 hours a week in agricultural retail at Rural King.

Ashley has shown and sold steers at the Warren County Fair for five years. She is responsible for feeding, grooming, and training them for the shows.

Ashley believes in hard work and paying for her education on her own so receiving the scholarship would help her.
